superdetermine is an individual open-source project. The Apache 2.0 licence is the governing document; everything below is a plain-language summary of what that means in practice.
The licence governs
superdetermine is open source under the Apache License 2.0. That licence is the actual agreement covering your use, modification, and redistribution of the software, and it is what to read if the two disagree with each other: plyght/superdetermine
Provided as-is
The software comes with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. Nobody is liable for damage arising from its use. This is stated in full in sections 7 and 8 of the licence.
It is early software
superdetermine is under active development. Commands, flags, output formats, and on-disk formats may change between versions, sometimes without a migration path. Pin a version if you need stability.
Your data is yours to look after
sdt operates on files on your machine. You are responsible for your own backups and for verifying that a destructive operation did what you expected. Keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
